The Campaign for the Idea Center received a generous grant from The Eva L. and Joseph M. Bruening Foundation in the amount of $500,000.
The foundation focuses on education and social services with an emphasis on care for the elderly, disabled and disadvantaged. The greater Cleveland area has benefited from the Bruening Foundation’s generosity for the past 18 years.
“The Bruening Foundation has always been interested in large civic initiatives that will enhance the quality of community life locally. The Idea Center will be a tremendous educational asset to Cleveland by bringing the arts to more children and families,” explained Cristin Slesh, Program Officer for the Bruening Foundation. |
